Alphabets Day was joyfully celebrated for the Foundation Stage (FS) on the 4th and 5th of February at the School Auditorium. The event was thoughtfully organized to strengthen early literacy skills while making learning a fun, interactive, and memorable experience for our young learners. The auditorium was beautifully decorated with colorful alphabet displays, vibrant charts, balloons, and creative student artwork, creating an exciting and welcoming atmosphere for the children.

Throughout the celebration, students enthusiastically participated in a variety of engaging activities centered around letters and sounds. Each class took part in alphabet-themed performances, including rhymes, songs, storytelling sessions, and short presentations that highlighted letter recognition and phonics. The children confidently showcased their understanding of alphabets by identifying letters, pronouncing their sounds, and using simple words associated with them.

To make the event even more special, students came dressed in creative costumes representing different letters of the alphabet. From “A for Apple” to “Z for Zebra,” the costumes added color and excitement to the program while reinforcing letter-sound associations in a playful way. Teachers guided the children with patience and encouragement, ensuring that every child felt confident and included.

Interactive games and activities such as alphabet matching, letter hunts, and phonics-based challenges were also conducted to enhance participation and make learning hands-on. These activities not only strengthened early reading skills but also supported the development of confidence, communication, and social interaction among the children.

Alphabets Day was a delightful and successful celebration that reflected the enthusiasm and creativity of our Foundation Stage learners. It provided a wonderful platform for children to express themselves, build foundational literacy skills, and develop a love for language in a joyful and supportive environment. The event truly highlighted the importance of experiential learning in early childhood education.
